At EVdaddy, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide a smooth and transparent returns process for our customers.


30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as received

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging

  • Products must be in new, resalable condition


Returns Due to Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue promptly.

In such cases, EVdaddy will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace the item

  • Or issue a refund, based on inspection results

This is in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Returns for Change of Mind

We accept returns for change of mind (for example, if you no longer want the item or ordered the wrong product), provided all return conditions are met.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are not refundable

  • Original shipping fees may be deducted if the order no longer meets our free shipping threshold

  • A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount


Conditions of Return

To process your return, please provide:

  • Full name used on the order

  • Order number

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)

Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received at our warehouse. Please ensure products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us immediately if there are any issues. Claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be made as soon as reasonably possible after receipt.

Failure to report issues within a reasonable timeframe may affect our ability to offer a resolution.


Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a different item is to:

  1. Request a return for the original item

  2. Place a new order for the desired product once the return is approved

This ensures quicker processing and availability.


Return Shipping & Fees

  • Our fault (wrong item, defect, quality issue):
    → Return shipping costs are covered by EVdaddy

  • Customer-related reasons (change of mind, wrong item ordered):
    → Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • If the remaining order value falls below our free shipping threshold ($150) after return, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

  • A 10% restocking fee applies to approved change-of-mind returns.


How to Request a Refund

Please contact us by email at support@evdaddy.com.au and include:

  1. Your order number

  2. Reason for the return or refund request

  3. Clear photos or videos if the item is damaged or defective

Do not return items without prior approval, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.


Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow up to 15 business days for the refund to be processed by your bank or credit card provider
